Culture
The Sentier des Peintres leads through the village's narrow streets to places that inspired 20th-century painters. Their works have been reproduced there on lava slabs. In addition, the Sentier du Patrimoine was inaugurated in September 2018, complementing the Sentier des Peintres and the Sentier des Plantes. It marks ten emblematic monuments of the municipality of Les Angles with information boards.
The presbytery, the presbytère, is located in a former medieval fortified structure; the church stands in the same military complex. Since 31 October 1912, the presbytery has been partially protected as a Monument historique. Of the 12th-century castle complex, a northwestern tower and walls to the north, west and south have survived, enclosing an inner courtyard.
The communal bread oven, the “four banal”, is also part of the town's traditional history: a text from 1586 refers to its existence. On various occasions, volunteers heat up the oven again to bake bread and other foods.
Nature
The ViaRhôna cycle route passes under the TGV railway bridges at Les Angles. From there, a greenway runs to Aramon.
At Parc du Cosmos, guided tours along garrigue paths take visitors through the universe – from the sun to distant galaxies – and also cover the history of space travel. The planetarium at Parc du Cosmos projects animated images of constellations, the Milky Way, the moon, planets and deep-sky objects such as nebulae and galaxies.
History
In the immediate vicinity of Les Angles are the Musée Calvet museum, the Palais des papes, the Abbaye Saint-André historic site and the Ancien Collège de Cisterciens de Sénanque historic site.
