Culture and history
The Église Saint-Michel is a Neo-Gothic church. Four surviving stained-glass windows of the Église Saint-Michel have been classified as historic monuments since 10 October 1906. The Baschet house and studio are part of the heritage of Saint-Michel-sur-Orge.
The Quartier Ancien includes a numbered series of heritage sites, including Église Saint-Michel, Grange Baschet and Gare. Grange Baschet was formerly the village dairy and later the workshop and home of Bernard Baschet; today it is used by the Association Structures Sonores Baschet.

Micro-Folie is a digital museum and interactive facility in the auditorium of the École d’Arts at the Centre Culturel Baschet. It is free and open to everyone and connected to the collections of France’s leading museums.
