Nature
The Cirque de l’Essonne extends across three municipalities, including Lisses, and covers 130 hectares featuring a diverse mosaic landscape of natural habitats. These include wetlands, meadows, woodland areas and limestone slopes. A total of 54 bird species, 10 mammal species, 26 butterfly species and 28 dragonfly species have been documented there.
Three established trails are planned for the Cirque de l’Essonne, providing access to this natural heritage while also protecting sensitive habitats.
The Domaine départemental de Montauger in Lisses is classified as an Espace naturel sensible (ENS). It is open to all visitors; visits can be arranged freely while respecting the protection of the site.

Culture
The Église Saint-Germain-Saint-Vincent in Lisses is a church dating from the 15th to 16th centuries and is classified as a historic monument. Its portal has a sculpted tympanum. Since 1736, the church has also had a two-sided, three-legged wrought-iron lectern.
