Culture
The parish church of Saint-Philibert is located in Darbonnay and is a historic building. Its nave dates from the 17th or 18th century. Next to the parish church, a cemetery cross was erected in 1858 for Jean Louis Chaperoz and his wife; it is signed by F. Paraucouturier. The reclining statue of “Saint Philibert” was created between 1531 and 1533.

The “Parfums & Vins du Jura” workshop combines the exploration of fragrance families with a tasting of selected Jura wines. In the morning, the “Les nez Jurassiens” route offers the option of a wine tasting at Domaine Pêcheur before continuing via the Jura Wine Route to Arbois.

Bulle à parfums is a haute parfumerie concept in a fragrance garden open to visitors, located in the countryside in the heart of the Jura wine-growing region. By appointment, it offers an experience for identifying your personal olfactory profile. Bulle à Parfums’ “Parfums & Chocolats” workshop combines luxury perfumery with high-quality chocolate in a sensory experience. It includes a tasting of selected chocolates from Maison Hirsinger, whose distinction as a Meilleur Ouvrier de France is mentioned.
Pisciculture de la Dorme offers trout fishing at its Tramelans site on the banks of the Brenne in Darbonnay. In summer, it hosts guinguette evenings on Friday nights, as well as a musical guinguette in July and August. The fish specialities on offer include smoked trout, smoked carp, rillettes, spreads, ceviche, carp goujonnettes and fish skewers.
The “Autour de la Brenne entre Darbonnay et Saint Lothain” hiking route begins in the square in front of Darbonnay town hall.
