Foucherans: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The church of Foucherans was built in the Romanesque style in the 16th century. A renovation in 2001 restored its original appearance. Inside, there are two valuable paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries; one of them has been classified as a historic monument since 1958.

Culture and history

The Vieux château cannot be visited. The workers' settlement of the former Foucherans ironworks was built between 1890 and 1914. The buildings in this former workers' settlement have three storeys, including a basement.

The Belaine runs through Foucherans in a valley. The Etang de Foucherans is suitable for family walks. Motor vehicles must be parked in a designated parking area and may not drive on the rest of the site.
