Oye-et-Pallet: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Nature
The Oratoire Notre-Dame des Côtes offers panoramic views over the Doubs valley and its meanders downstream from Lac de Saint-Point. It lies 500 metres north of the village, just a few metres from the chapel built in 1871 under the same dedication. The oratory is an ochre-coloured stone structure measuring 1.60 metres in height.
Culture
The Church of Saint Nicholas has a bell-tower porch dating from 1749. Inside, there is a listed polychrome and gilded altarpiece made in 1716. The ensemble comprising the high altar, tabernacle and retable was created in 1716 by François Gagelin. The church's stained-glass windows were designed around 1956 by Serge Rezvani and produced by the young glass artist Paul Virilio.
Getting There
Access to the Grands communaux circular trail is via the RN57 from Pontarlier towards Lausanne, the D437 and Rue des Écoles. Parking is available at Oye-et-Pallet Town Hall.
