From Brey-et-Maison-du-Bois, the easy circular hike Belvédère des Deux Lacs depuis le Brey covers 5.1 kilometres, with 162 metres of ascent and 158 metres of descent. It begins and ends at the Mairie car park in Brey-et-Maison-du-Bois. The route includes an interpretive trail about the water cycle with nine discovery stations for families. The trail passes through the Forêt du Mont-Sainte-Marie and offers views of the marshes and reed beds of Lac de Remoray as well as the mouth of the Drésine. The Belvédère des Deux Lacs offers a remarkable viewpoint over a valley of glacial origin with Lac de Remoray and Lac de Saint-Point.

Culture
The Église Saint-Sébastien in Brey-et-Maison-du-Bois houses a statue of the Vierge à l'Enfant from the second half of the 17th century. The statue depicts the standing Virgin with a crown, sceptre and crescent moon.
The town's collection of sacred art also includes the painting Vierge à l'Enfant, saint Jean-Baptiste et sainte Agnès de Rome, which was donated by the emperor in 1860.
The Chapelle Sainte-Barbe in Brey-et-Maison-du-Bois was restored by the municipality in 2013. It consists of a single-nave room with a small wooden high altar, a revolving tabernacle and a statue of Saint Barbara.
History
The present parish church, Église Saint-Sébastien, in Brey-et-Maison-du-Bois was built in the first half of the 19th century, in 1837. It replaced earlier religious buildings.
