Culture
The Musée Jérôme Carcopino is located in Fort Matra. Fort Matra was classified as a historic monument (Monument historique) by decree on 12 October 1962. The Musée d'Aléria Jérôme Carcopino is open to the public.
Aléria's cultural landscape also includes the Site antique d'Aléria, an open-air museum on a table-shaped plateau. The Tour de Diana was completed in 1586. The Église Saint-Marcel was built using old stones.
Trails
The Sentier de Mare e Stagnu / Aleria is a circular walking route that starts and ends in Aléria. The Mare e Stagnu trail near Aléria has three colour-coded circular loops. One of these three circular loops is approximately 8 km long and takes around three hours.
Wine
At Domaine Terra Vecchia, visitors can discover wines during a guided tour or while sharing a moment around the barrels. The various Terra Vecchia cuvées can be discovered in the cellars or on a terrace overlooking the vineyards.
