Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Roch dite San Roccu is an elongated chapel with a flat-ended choir, accessible via three steps. The chapel houses a painting of the Assumption of the Virgin with two saints, including Saint Roch; on 9 February 1995, it was classified as a historic monument in the category of objects. The furnishings also include a stained wooden sacristy cabinet from the early 19th century, which is listed in the supplementary inventory of movable objects protected as historic monuments.

The Musée de la Corse is a museum in the vicinity of Poggio-di-Venaco. The historic site Église et Baptistère de San Giovanni is located nearby. The ruins of Chapelle San Giovanni and the ruins of Église de Santa Mariona can also be found in the area.

Trails

The Sentier du Patrimoine passes through Casanova, Poggio di Venaco and Riventosa, connecting these three places. The trail is 3.5 km long and leads hikers on a journey of discovery through the local cultural heritage and the everyday lives of its residents.
