The parish church of Sainte-Lucie was listed as a historic monument by decree of 15 January 1987. It was rebuilt at the end of the 17th or beginning of the 18th century on the site of a chapel mentioned in a visitation report from 1646.
Culture
The former Saint-François Franciscan monastery in Convento, Talasani, was built in 1636; it was dissolved during the French Revolution and burned down in retaliation the following year.
The Prignani watchtower was intended to protect the village during the raids by the Barbary corsairs in 1541. The square Prignani watchtower survives as a ruin on a hill northeast of the former village.
The medieval chapel of San Petru was once owned by the Benedictine abbey of Saint-Sauveur and Saint-Mamilien and is now in ruins. The ruins of the 7th-century Romanesque chapel of San Petru are located one kilometre north of Talasani.
Nature
Talasani has a coastline in the Figaretto district. Figaretto, a hamlet in the Talasani plain, offers various beach-related activities.
Activities
Loop 13 starts at the A Mandria track at the northern exit of Figaretto and passes through Talasani and Tagliu è Isulaccia.
Tavagn'a Cavallu offers three-hour horseback rides through the sea and mountains in Talasani, including a swimming break. The range also includes two-hour rides in the mountains and customisable day tours.
Orientation
A small municipal car park is provided 100 metres from the parish church of Sainte-Lucie.
