Tavers: Holiday apartments and holiday homes
Along the Le Lien stream, Tavers had five washhouses built at the end of the 19th century between the Moulin Paillard and the Pontpierre bridge, over which the RN 152 runs: Paillard, Percerent or Perseran, Réchou, Guizarde and Pontpierre. With the exception of Pontpierre, they have been restored and are well preserved. The Chapelle Saint-Antoine was built at the end of the 15th or beginning of the 16th century.

Nature
The Source des Eaux Bleues in Tavers has been designated a classified site since 15 December 1924. The water of the Eaux Bleues appears translucent blue due to the clay-rich subsoil, its clarity and its very low mineral content. At the Fontenils spring, the water emerging from the ground causes bubbles to form, known as “sables mouvants”.
The Pelouse de Vau is not open for unrestricted visits. It can be viewed from the Chemin de Feularde, where information panels explain the protected status of the area. Because the land is grazed, it is fenced off, with a small gate providing access to the historic monument. In the immediate vicinity of Tavers, the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels Centre-Val de Loire owns and manages the Pelouse de Vau; numerous visits and events are offered there throughout the year.
Culture
The historic sites Château de Beaugency and Abbaye Notre-Dame-de-Beaugency are located in the immediate vicinity of Tavers. The Château du Bouchet and Château du Mardereau are also located in the surrounding area.
In the wider regional surroundings of Tavers are the Parc de Chambord, the Parc de Menars and the Place du Martroi.
Hiking
The “la Pierre tournante” section of the “Le chemin des Eaux bleues et de la Pierre tournante” hiking trail is 7.3 km long and takes 1 hour and 50 minutes.
