The château in Dampierre-en-Burly was listed on 6 March 1928. The protected elements of the Château de Dampierre include the main pavilion and four small secondary pavilions that serve as the entrance to the château.

Nature and Wildlife

The Benne nature area on the Loire has been protected since 2006 and is managed by the Conservatoire d’espaces naturels Centre-Val de Loire. It is home to numerous families of European beavers, which have been re-establishing themselves there for decades.

The Sentier Découverte introduces visitors to the local flora and fauna with the help of fun and educational facilities. The trail runs alongside the Étang du Bourg and crosses the Bois de la Charmille. There are 12 information stations along the Sentier Découverte; one of them was still under construction at the time of the description.
