The Boucle du Pin in Badecon-le-Pin is a blue-marked route with a possible connection to the church of Ceaulmont via the GRP® du Val de Creuse. At the same time, it is a meander of the Creuse and has been designated as an Espace Naturel Sensible.
Nature
At Lac de la Roche-Bat-l'Aigue, the landscape takes on a different form: the lake covers 60 hectares and was created by the Roche-Bat-l'Aigue dam. There are viewpoints from the cliffs.
Water
Lac de la Roche-Bat-l'Aigue is known for zander fishing and also attracts anglers for night-time carp fishing. It is also a meeting place for fishing enthusiasts.
Architectural Heritage
The protected architectural landscape heritage in Badecon-le-Pin includes the Pont Romain, the Ancien Prieuré, the Manoir du XVIIe and the Eglise Ste Solange. Each of these structures is designated as a protected element of this heritage.
The foundation stone of Saint Denis Church in Le Pin was laid in 1200. The church has preserved its Romanesque architecture over the centuries.
History
The Pont des Bœufs is a remnant of the former main access route between the hamlets of Badecon and Châtillon. The Stèle aux Dames is visible from the opposite bank of the river and is associated with the drowning of four women on 12 July 1883.
