The local architectural heritage also includes the Église Saint-Maur. It has a rectangular, single-nave main body with a wooden vaulted ceiling and is reinforced by several buttresses. In the surroundings of Saint-Maur-sur-le-Loir are also the Château de Châteaudun, a château, and the Château de Dangeau, a historic site. The Église abbatiale Sainte Madeleine de Châteaudun, which is considered a historic site, is also located nearby.

Saint-Maur-sur-le-Loir is a stopover on a cycling route along the Loir. The cycling stop also includes the Dolmen du Baignon.
