Luce: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

At the Ferme pédagogique des Carreaux, visitors can move freely around the grounds and discover almost 200 animals from the region, as well as some more exotic animals. The 3.5-hectare green site is located west of Lucé.

Leisure and exercise

The Plaine de jeux des Carreaux is a 3.5-hectare park for leisure and recreation. It features numerous sports facilities, a pump track, a miniature golf course, a playground, a play area with misting devices, as well as tables and benches for family picnics.

The pump track is set in a green, natural environment and is already accessible to young children. It includes four courses ranging from beginner to expert level. The green and soft mobility plan also includes footpaths and cycle paths in Lucé.

The Square de la Libération features a swing seat, a themed dragster-shaped play structure, and a play structure with slides.

Culture

The Centre Culturel Edmond Desouches has an auditorium with 684 seats and a capacity of up to 1,000 people for standing events. The Maurice Fanon hall hosts theatre performances, musicals, solo shows, comedy, concerts, family performances and lyrical performances.

The Médiathèque George Sand offers a diverse collection of books, magazines, newspapers, CDs, DVDs, board games and video games. It also offers a free programme of events for all age groups, including story time sessions, performances, a video game room and creative workshops.

Markets and history

At the market on the Place du 19 mars 1962, around 20 non-permanent vendors sell food, flowers and clothing.

The Church of Saint-Pantaléon is the oldest building in the municipality of Lucé. Its origins may date back to the 11th century, while its present form dates from the 15th and 16th centuries.
