Nature

Flacey is one of the municipalities located within the Natura 2000 bird protection area Beauce et vallée de la Conie, which consists of 80 % arable land. Flacey is also one of the municipalities affected by the Natura 2000 area FR2400553 “Vallée du Loir et affluents aux environs de Châteaudun”; this area covers 1,310 hectares.

Cycling

La Vallée du Loir à vélo is an official 320-kilometre cycle route.

Culture

The Domaine de Moresville in Flacey includes a 17th-century château and its orangery. Near Flacey are the Château de Châteaudun, the Château de Dangeau and the Église abbatiale Sainte Madeleine de Châteaudun.

The Eglise Saint Lubin in Flacey features painted roof trusses, posts and wood panelling depicting coats of arms, shields and plants. The Eglise Saint-Lubin in Flacey also has a baptismal font made of carved limestone from the 16th century, with a cover painted to imitate marble. The Musée Marcel Proust is located in the wider regional area around Flacey.
