Neuilly-en-Dun: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Neuilly-en-Dun is home to the Église Saint-Roch, which was classified as a historic monument by decree dated 10 February 1913. It was probably built in the mid-12th century, replacing an earlier building mentioned in 1106. Its nave is supported by a wooden structure; it also has a two-bay choir and a semicircular sanctuary with a quarter-sphere vault.

History and architecture

The Château de Lienesse includes a round dovecote with clay nesting boxes. Its wooden structure still preserves a spiral staircase. The Château de Lienesse consists of a group of buildings constructed in three different periods.

The Canal de Berry runs through Neuilly-en-Dun. The Tranchée d'Augy section of the canal lies partly in Neuilly-en-Dun, is 5 km long and 11 metres wide. This section of the Canal de Berry has a masonry canal bed and is crossed by three stone bridges. Along its entire route, the Canal de Berry has 115 locks.

The Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle runs through Neuilly-en-Dun. The GR 41 also passes through the town.
