Méreau: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Méreau is home to the Château d'Autry, whose main construction phases date from the 16th, 18th, and 19th centuries. The Château d'Autry is partly protected as a historic monument; the protected features include, among others, the chapel and the dovecote.

Culture

At the Château de Chevilly, heritage protection covers all structural elements as well as the associated grounds of the château and its outbuildings. The outbuildings include, among others, a dovecote and a mill; the mill dates from the 17th century. The protected ensemble of the Château de Chevilly also includes moats fed by the River Arnon.

The Fête de la Vannerie in Méreau was held for its 16th edition; registration was open for mini basket-weaving workshops.
