Réminiac: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Réminiac combines contemporary art with tangible traces of its history. The town is home to a collection of 29 monumental works of contemporary art; on the Réminiac sculpture trail stands the sculpture “Les Lumelles”, created by Melen Gibout.

Sculptures and Art

A Parcours du cœur has been established on the Réminiac sculpture trail. The wooden replica of “Les Lumelles” was created in 2008 during the Rémini’arts festival. Near the Étang de Réminiac, original works made of wood and various other materials complete the sculpture trail.

The “Vénus de Réminiac” stands by the pond at the entrance to the village of Tréblanc. In the village of Cladeuc, the chestnut sculpture “Mère et l'enfant” stands on the bank of the pond near the Pâtis de Perdrillan.

History

The parish church of Saint-Rémy in Réminiac was built in 1883. The reliquary cross in the church of Saint-Rémy was made in 1834–1835. Chalice 1 in the church of Saint-Rémy in Réminiac is attributed to Benjamin Le Clerc or Leclerc, a goldsmith in Vannes; the maker’s mark on the chalice was registered in 1723.

The Manoir de Surlande in Réminiac dates mainly from the first half of the 19th century. The Moulin de la Minière windmill in Réminiac is tentatively attributed to the 18th century.
