La Trinité-Sur-Mer: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

La Trinité-sur-Mer combines maritime history with stone-built landmarks and protected nature. Its particular connection with seafaring is associated with Éric Tabarly: he chose the port of La Trinité-sur-Mer as the place where the Pen Duick II would be built.

Culture

The Church of Saint Joseph preserves an altarpiece dating from 1682, which is listed as a historic monument. The Kerisper Bridge is also one of the defining structures: it spans the Crac’h River for more than 200 metres. The original bridge was built in 1901 to an Eiffel-style design and rebuilt after the Second World War.

At Petit Ménec, the alignment comprises 101 standing menhirs arranged in seven rows.

Nature

Le Poulbert is a protected natural area. The customs path leads from beach to beach to the Pointe de Kerbihan, with its viewpoint over Quiberon Bay.

For recreational fishing at low tide, the municipality names the beaches of Port Biren, Kerbihan and Men Allen as particularly suitable.

Water

Alternative Sailing is based in La Trinité-sur-Mer and Quiberon and rents out a fleet of 60 sailboats, including monohulls and catamarans, with or without a skipper. From La Trinité-sur-Mer, Valmarelo Marine offers sailing trips to the islands of southern Brittany aboard a luxurious maxi catamaran.

Discoveries

Nature Pour Tous offers guided tours of the salt marshes in La Trinité-sur-Mer, during which visitors learn more about the expertise of salt workers. During the season, Escapade en Terre Iodée offers various guided tours and nature excursions in Morbihan, including seaweed excursions and plant walks.

The weekly market takes place on Tuesdays and Friday mornings from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Place du Voulien in La Trinité-sur-Mer.
