Baden is part of the Golfe du Morbihan Regional Nature Park. Some coastal paths in Baden run along the GR 34. Baden also includes the Sept-Îles; there, the coastal path can be explored at low tide.

Nature and Coast

The beaches of Plage de Brouhel and Plage de Carnac are located near Baden. Le Grand Huernic and Er Runio are also located in the surrounding area of Baden; both are islands. On the water, Varec’h Kayak in Bois Bas in Baden offers guided kayak tours to explore the gulf.

Culture and History

The Dolmen de Mané-Ven-Guen is located in Baden, in the Toulvern district, and has been listed as a historic monument by decree since 10 April 1980. The Église paroissiale Saint-Pierre in Baden preserves three Romanesque buttresses and the base of the southern transept arm. The Église Saint-Pierre in Baden also features an impressive wooden altarpiece from the 16th century.

The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Penmern is open daily to walkers, tourists, and cyclists. The Moulin à marée de Baden in Mériadec was built in the 15th century.

Les Pierres Plates and the Allée couverte de Grah Niol are located near Baden; both are registered as ancient sites. Cairn de Gavrinis is also located in the surrounding area and is registered as a historic site. The Dolmen de la Madeleine is likewise located near Baden and is registered as an ancient site.
