Culture and History

The Chapelle Sainte-Barbe in Allaire was built starting on December 27, 1488. The rectangular structure consists of large and medium-sized blocks of gray granite, with two buttresses on each of the long sides and four corner buttresses. The Chapelle Saint-Eutrope in Allaire is also a rectangular structure made of large and medium-sized blocks of gray granite. Two buttresses stand along its south wall, along with four corner buttresses.

The Château du Plessis-Rivault in Allaire was built around 1830 by the Le Provost de la Voltais family on the site of a former seigneurie.
