Lohéac: Holiday apartments and houses

Lohéac reveals its special character at the Manoir de l’Automobile et des Vieux Métiers: The museum offers 15,000 m² of exhibition space in a 17th-century manor house.

Culture

On display are more than 400 vehicles of all types, ages and nationalities, including 30 horse-drawn carriages as well as 50 motorcycles and bicycles. The collection illustrates a century of automotive history. In the model section, 30 dioramas featuring more than 3,000 miniature automobiles from all makes and motorsport categories tell further stories. The “Les Vieux métiers” section recreates around twenty shops and workshops, with dolls in period clothing and objects from that time.

The town’s history is also present. The Église Saint-André was built in 1890 by Arthur Regnault. A heritage walk through the streets of Lohéac explains the history of the house façades and the local significance of water using information panels. There is also the “Lohéac c’est aussi” geocaching trail.

Experiences

A 2.5 km automobile track at the Manoir de l’Automobile is available for rental to driving schools, private individuals and clubs. Actarus was founded in 1987 and offers groups and individuals numerous formats for automotive courses on Formule France. HMC offers driving training on the Circuit de Lohéac with various types of vehicles and in different formats on the asphalt circuit.

RKO Lohéac is a karting complex for companies and private individuals with two race tracks, a seminar room and a clubhouse with panoramic terraces.
