Treogat: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Tréogat, the sea, marshland and reed beds meet at Étang de Trunvel. Étang de Trunvel is a biological nature reserve protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral. Every year, it is visited by more than 100,000 migratory birds and 10,000 breeding pairs.

Nature

The Circuit de la vallée de Languidou starts in the centre of Tréogat and leads along country paths to Étang de Kergalan. Numerous bird species breed there, including some very rare species.

Paths and excursions

In Tréogat, there are hiking opportunities on the GR34 and other hiking trails, a cycle route, a mountain bike trail and horse-riding excursions.

Culture and history

On Tréogat’s eastern border with Peumerit lies Manoir du Minven, next to a former dairy farm. The de Boisguehenneuc family ruled there for two centuries, until the French Revolution.

In the Keryéré district, there are four large bunkers dating from the occupation during the last war. They are clearly visible from the road and were built to protect large-calibre guns.

Église Saint-Boscat dates from the 14th to the 15th century and was built in the architectural style of the Pont-Croix school. The parish complex comprises the church, the surrounding wall, the cemetery, the calvary and the fountain. Since 2008, Église Saint-Boscat has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.

Coast

Plage de Kerbinigou is a pebble beach at high tide and becomes a wide fine-sand beach at low tide.
