Nature

The Marais de Curnic is a protected area covering 110.56 hectares, open to the public, in Guissény and Plouguerneau. A signposted circular discovery trail around the Marais de Curnic includes a boardwalk through the marsh. The area attracts birds all year round, including ducks, waders, large wading birds, warblers and western marsh harriers.

Coast and trails

The long, flat beach of Vougot is used for kitesurfing. The GR34 coastal footpath offers an opportunity for hiking in the region around Guissény. There are several signposted hiking trails around Guissény; Pointe de Nodeven is given as an example.
