Saint Yvi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The intercommunal circular trail no. 11 runs through Saint-Yvi, together with Rosporden, Elliant and Melgven. The Bois de Pleuven circular trails also form part of the hiking trails in the municipality of Saint-Yvi.

Culture and History

The Chapelle de Locmaria-an-Hent, also known as Notre Dame de la Source, is classified as a historic monument, was a stop on the Tro Breiz pilgrimage route and was built in the 15th century. The Pardon of the Chapelle de Locmaria is celebrated in August on the Sunday after the Feast of the Assumption. The portal of the Manoir de Toulgoat dates from the 16th century. On the churchyard of Notre-Dame Church in Saint-Yvi stands a calvary with a twisted shaft; this churchyard also includes an ossuary.

Getting Around

Saint-Yvi is easily accessible via the Lorient–Brest expressway. The Là-Haut viewpoint can be reached via a 10-kilometre circular route starting at the car park of Saint-Yvi Town Hall and offers a panorama stretching from Pointe de Trévignon to Concarneau’s Ville-Close.
