Plobannalec-Lesconil: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

In Plobannalec-Lesconil, the 100-metre-long Plage des 4 Vents beach is located next to the harbour, water sports centre and shops. The leisure activities listed there include water sports, volleyball and beach fishing.

By the water

The Centre Nautique de Lesconil offers sailing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, traditional boating, exploring the marine environment and water walking, supervised by qualified instructors all year round. During the school holidays, the programme also includes five half-day courses, a rental service, as well as excursions and individually bookable discovery activities.

The Port de Lesconil has 98 buoy moorings occupied all year round. It also provides around 30 berths at landing stages or buoys for stopovers and coastal trips.

Landscape and trails

The coast from the harbour towards Léchiagat is characterised by rocks with unusual shapes, including the Rochers du Goudoul. The Rochers du Goudoul are located in a protected natural area; dogs are allowed there, but must be kept on a lead at all times to protect the sensitive flora and fauna.

From Pors Riagat beach, you can follow the GR34 coastal path, known as the customs officers’ path, on foot. The Circuit les dolmens circular hiking trail connects inland landscapes with the coast and is signposted with yellow PR and white-and-red GR®34 markings.

The Boucle n°3 Autour du Ster cycling loop starts and ends at the Port de Lesconil, at the Quai de Pontruche or at the Corniche car park. VTC, mountain, electrically assisted and electrically assisted mountain bikes are recommended for the loop.

Culture and history

The Chapelle de Saint-Brieuc de Plonivel was rebuilt in the 15th and 16th centuries and combines Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque architectural elements. The chapel contains a Baroque-Rococo high altar from the 18th century and a pulpit made in 1788 by the Marzin workshop from Pont-l’Abbé.

Kervadol has been classified as a historic monument since 1922. The Kervadol megalithic site comprises two Neolithic burials, located around 20 metres apart in a burial mound 60 metres in diameter. Quelarn is a group of six Neolithic burials dating from around 3500 BC, with divided chambers and access corridors that were formerly covered by a stone mound.

The Manoir de Kerhoas was built in the 16th century and is considered a typical example of a manor house in the Cornouaille of that period, serving both as a lord’s residence and an agricultural estate. The grounds of the private Manoir de Kerhoas are open to visitors and include the park, bread oven, well, orchard and barn. At the Manoir de Kerhoas, there is a shaded rest area for hikers by the Steir, with several wooden tables.

The reconstructed Chantier naval Le Cœur presents the maritime heritage of the Port of Lesconil with numerous old tools, objects and pictorial documents donated by local residents.
