Guipavas: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The heritage trail in Guipavas follows a circular route of just under 6 kilometres through the town centre. There are 23 information panels along the route.

Nature

The Vallée du Cam is a 17-hectare protected natural area. The walking route through the Vallée du Cam follows quiet roads and wide paths and offers opportunities to observe the local flora and fauna.

At Pen an Traon beach in the Douvez district, visitors can walk along the banks of the Elorn and use information panels about the surrounding heritage. Guipavas provides free brochures about walking routes at the town hall or offers them as PDFs for download.

The Vallon du Stang Alar is located in the municipalities of Guipavas and Brest, near the Port de plaisance du Moulin Blanc marina and Océanopolis.

Culture

The Église Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul in Guipavas has been listed as a historic monument since 2018 and was rebuilt in the early 1950s. The Chapelle Notre-Dame-du-Rhun, which is protected as a historic monument, is also located in Guipavas.

In the vicinity of Guipavas are the Artothèque de Brest, a museum, le Château de Brest, a castle, the Tour Tanguy, a historic site, and Fort de l'Armorique, a fort.

Plage du Moulin Blanc, a beach, is located in the immediate vicinity of Guipavas. Plage du Petit Minou and Trez-Rouz, which are also beaches, are located farther away in the surrounding region. Île Ronde, an island, is also located near Guipavas.

Local

Jardin de Prélude is an organic vegetable farm that offers guided tours from 2 to 5 p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. It grows 80 varieties of vegetables and herbs seasonally.
