Pouldergat: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Pouldergat traditionally features a bocage landscape shaped by agriculture and, in particular, livestock grazing. The landscape includes numerous hamlets and remote farmsteads.

Hiking and Trails

Pouldergat offers two signposted circular routes for hikers, walkers and mountain bikers. The Circuit des moulins circular route is approximately 12 km long and runs through wooded paths in the north of Pouldergat, along several small rivers. The Circuit des deux vallées circular route is approximately 16.5 km long and passes through the southern part of Pouldergat.

Pouldergat has 30 km of hiking trails maintained and improved by An Diharzherien. Every year on 8 May, An Diharzherien organises a public hike, and every year at the beginning of August, it organises a walk to discover the commune's heritage. An Diharzherien also offers two hiking groups: a group for beginners with routes of approximately 6 to 9 km and a group for more advanced hikers with routes of approximately 9 to 13 km.

There are picnic areas at several points along a circular route in Pouldergat. The fish-rich waterways in Pouldergat are suitable for river fishing.

Culture and History

The Kerlivit Cross bears the date 1583 and was re-erected in 1872. Several manor houses dating back centuries are located in the commune of Pouldergat. Pouldergat has also preserved five of its old crosses.
