The Sentier du Guillec runs through bocage landscapes, along paths in wooded areas, beside field margins, and between fields and cultivated plateaus in the Guillec Valley.

Nature and trails

The Sentier de Saint-Laurent begins at the town hall. The 9-kilometre hiking trail has a stated duration of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The Sentier des Moulins is an easy, 12-kilometre circular route for mountain biking and hiking. It begins at the car park of the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Berven and passes the mill and pond of Brant as well as the Notre-Dame-de-Berven spring.

Culture

The bell tower of the Saint-Pierre parish church in Plouzévédé was built in 1655 and 1669. The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Berven is a chapel dating from 1580, classified as a historic monument, and has a Léonard-style bell tower. The Notre-Dame-de-Berven spring has been classified as a historic monument since 27 November 1968.

Basket weaving is also one of the vivid insights into local life: in Plouzévédé, visitors can watch local basket weavers make wickerwork. Gwialenn Ar Vro runs a workshop open to the public, with demonstrations and exhibitions on basket weaving as well as information about willow cultivation. At the Osez l’Osier workshop, children aged 10 and over and adults discover the art of weaving willow rods and using them to make various objects.
