Le Drennec: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

Le Drennec combines riverside landscapes and paths with churches, chapels and annual pardons. Landscape, architectural heritage and local traditions stand side by side here as distinct facets.

Nature

The wooded banks of the two Abers in Le Drennec invite you to enjoy pleasant walks. Le Drennec also has a hiking trail in the valley of the Aber-Wrac'h.

Cycling

The Véloroute des Abers includes a second route established between Plabennec and Le Drennec.

Culture and history

The Église Saint-Drien was built in the 16th century and houses a bell dating from 1763. For safety reasons, the church has been closed for two years; it is due to be restored and reopened to the public.

The Chapelle de Landouzen still has its enclosed grounds, with a main entrance made up of three carved-stone pillars. At the Chapelle de Landouzen, a stele from the Iron Age recalls the legend of a dragon that was tied up there.

The Chapelle de Loc Mazé stands on a rocky promontory on the banks of the Aber-Benoît. It was a priory dependent on the monastery of Pointe Saint-Mathieu.

Traditions

The annual Pardon Gouel Landouzen takes place on the second Sunday in July. The annual Pardon Gouel Lok-Maze takes place every August in Loc-Mazé.
