La Feuillee: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

La Feuillée particularly clearly reflects the character of the Monts d’Arrée: the northwest of the municipality is shaped by the moors and ridges of the Monts d’Arrée. Since 10 January 1966, the entire municipality has belonged to the registered Monts d’Arrée landscape area.

Landscape and Hiking

La Feuillée is part of the approximately 100-kilometre Kalon Menez Are hiking trail. The route can be completed in two- to three-day loops; longer variants take up to five days or more.

The Roc’h an Teuz hike follows the former Plouescat–Rosporden railway line to the ridge of Roc’h Trévézel. This former railway line was put into operation in 1912, closed in 1932, subsequently dismantled and converted into a hiking trail.

The Roc’h ar Bic circular trail is 18 km long and takes approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes.

Culture and History

Goarem ar Manec’h is a fortified, abandoned village that was listed as a historic monument by decree of 26 February 1996.

The Saint-Houardon Chapel was probably built by the Hospitaller commandery at the beginning of the 17th century and has been documented since 1617. The present parish church of Saint John the Baptist stands on the site of a building that partly dates back to the 13th century.

The Menhir de Kerelcun is a Neolithic granite menhir on the edge of a disused section of the former D764 departmental road.

During the Pardon of Saint-Jean on 24 June, the traditional procession of the „petit mouton“ takes place; it is led by a four-year-old child.
