The Notre-Dame de Rocamadour Chapel dates largely from 1527, stands on a rocky promontory, and was particularly revered by sailors. Since 1935, it has been listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments.

Culture

The Church of Saint-Rémi features maritime reliefs depicting 1930s fishing boats, warships and merchant ships, as well as fishing scenes and anchors. At Le Sillon, the ship cemetery comprises ten wrecks that symbolically represent lobster fishing, particularly off the coast of Mauritania.

The Lagatjar alignments comprise around one hundred menhirs and are considered the most significant in the region. The Tour Dorée in Camaret-sur-Mer is also one of the twelve selected sites.
