Saint-Fiacre: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The church of Saint-Fiacre is the only protected historic monument in the municipality.

History

The church of Saint-Fiacre dates from the 15th century and was rebuilt at the end of the 19th century. Its floor plan is in the shape of a Latin cross. The Saint-Nicolas Chapel incorporates construction phases from the 15th century and the second quarter of the 18th century; its west gable and north side were renovated in 1749. The Saint-Fiacre fountain was built in 1740 and is located near the pond in the village centre.

Landscape

The Avaugour-Bois-Meur state forest extends across Saint-Fiacre as well as Saint-Péver, Lanrodec and Boquého. In the forest, which also extends across Saint-Fiacre, there are 40 km of hiking trails in the form of eight signposted circular routes.

Activities

The Les Ânes de Min Guen educational farm is located on the edge of the Avaugour-Bois-Meur forest in Saint-Fiacre; it offers various activities by prior reservation. Les Ânes de Min Guen offers donkey hikes and educational workshops, among other activities.

The Saint-Fiacre hiking trail is an easy 14 km route; walking time is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. You can park by the pond in the village centre for this hiking trail.

Annual events

On the last Sunday of August each year, the Pardon de Saint-Fiacre and the plant festival take place around the pond.
