The parish church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul dates from 1868 and was consecrated in 1874. It contains a medieval baptismal font whose basin, resting on columns, is decorated with expressive faces, as well as a colourful Stations of the Cross with inscriptions in Breton.

Sacred Sites

The Chapelle Saint-André in La Ville Blanche is associated with a cross and a devotional spring. The spring lies on a sloping embankment and is shaped like a fireplace; inside it is a carved stone featuring a scallop shell framed by two angels. The chapel also has a Gothic-style tracery window dating approximately from 1480 to 1500. It is open once a year during the Pardon.

The Chapelle Saint-Dogmaël, also known as Saint-Dogmel or Saint-Thomel, dates from the 17th century and was restored in 1921. It is associated with the Welsh bishop Saint-Dogmaël, who is venerated in Rospez.

Historical Traces

The origins of the Manoir de Squivit appear to date back to the second half of the 15th century. The estate was remodelled in the 16th and 17th centuries; in 1833, Jean Briand partially enlarged or rebuilt it. An even older trace is the Beauregard tumulus: it dates from the Bronze Age and is now visible in a field as a slight rise in the terrain. In addition, a probable section of the Roman road between Le Yaudet and Runan passed through Rospez.

Historical buildings can also be found in the surrounding area. Near Rospez lies Kastell Koad Freg, a castle. In the surrounding area are Kastell Tonkedeg, a castle, and Tonquédec Castle, a historic site. In the wider region around Rospez lies Château de Keralio, a castle.
