Culture and history

The Cornéan grain mill in Plouguenast was built in 1640. The Manoir de la Touche-Brandineuf appears to date from the early 16th century and was listed by decree of 30 March 1926. The church in Vieux Bourg has been included in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 6 February 1926. In Vieux Bourg, the existence of the bread oven was first documented in the Napoleonic land register in 1825.

Le Cithéa is a community cinema in Plouguenast and organizes the “Terres et Films d'ici et d'ailleurs” festival every year in March.

Trails and water

Several circular trails ranging from 5.5 to 31 kilometers start from Guette-es-Lièvres. The Lié can be explored by kayak or paddleboard, allowing you to discover its banks and mills.

Culinary traditions

Les Estivales du Four à Pain is a major annual event that combines local heritage, culture, and culinary traditions. As part of Les Estivales du Four à Pain, free hands-on workshops on kneading, shaping, and placing the dough in baskets are offered in Vieux Bourg and at the Moulin de Guettes es lièvres.
