Loscouët-Sur-Meu: Vacation Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Grand Moulin in Loscouët-sur-Meu was initially a grain mill, then an industrial mill complex, and is now used as a fishing center. Its complex consists of three main buildings located directly below and downstream from the dam of the Étang de Loscouët. The Grand Moulin appears to have been rebuilt around 1840.

Culture and Local History

The church of Loscouët-sur-Meu was rebuilt in 1921 according to plans by the architect Arthur Régnault. The Saint-Roch Chapel is located in the cemetery of Loscouët-sur-Meu. The small rectangular building has a polygonal chancel and was rebuilt in the cemetery in 1900.

Surroundings

There are three ancient sites in the surroundings of Loscouët-sur-Meu: Le Chêne de Guillotin, Tombeau de Merlin, and La fontaine de Jouvence. La Fontaine de Barenton is an ancient site in the wider regional surroundings of Loscouët-sur-Meu. Bel Air, a mountain, is also located in this wider regional area.

Trails and Activities

The Au fil du Meu circular trail starts at the village hall near the town hall of Loscouët-sur-Meu. Fishabil, a European center for catch-and-release big-fish fishing, is located at the Étang de Loscouët.

The V6 greenway has a sandy surface and is suitable for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, horse-drawn carriages, and cyclists.
