Erquy: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

At Cap d’Erquy, there are several kilometres of paths created for environmentally friendly tourism.

Nature

Cap d’Erquy is a 170-hectare protected natural area and is integrated into the Natura 2000 network. The cape is located in the immediate vicinity of Erquy. The Lacs bleus were formed by the extraction of pink sandstone from the cliffs above the port of Erquy.

Culture

The Château de Bienassis has been protected as a historic monument since 29 August 1945. Visitors can see the ornamental garden, the older part of the stables and the chapel by the fortification walls.

The Chapelle Saint-Michel is now a visitor attraction offering guided tours with commentary. The Pardon de la Chapelle Saint-Pabu takes place on the third Sunday in July.

Activities

The Centre Nautique d'Erquy offers bookable introductory sessions supervised by an instructor in various water sports. There are also discovery tours by open kayak from the port to the wild beaches at Cap d’Erquy, as well as introductory land sailing sessions supervised by a qualified instructor.

The Château de Bienassis is a historic site in the vicinity of Erquy. The Prieuré de Saint-Gallery is located in the vicinity of Erquy and is a historic site.

In the wider regional surroundings of Erquy are the Abbaye de Saint-Aubin-des-Bois and Hunaudaye Castle; both are historic sites. Plage des Rosaires is a beach there.
