Loguivy-Lès-Lannion: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

In Loguivy-Lès-Lannion, ecclesiastical heritage, fountains on the Léguer and Saint-Ivy traditions come together. The Église Saint-Yvi de Loguivy is partially classified as a historic monument. The cemetery enclosure and the Saint-Yvi fountains were classified as historic monuments on 2 March 1912.

Culture

The bell tower of the Église Saint-Yvi de Loguivy houses a bronze bell cast in 1785. The choir contains the statue “Statue de Saint Patrice?, dite de Saint Yvi” from the 16th century. The church also contains a nativity altar carved from oak dating from the time of Louis XIII.

Nature

Loguivy-lès-Lannion is located on the Léguer. There are two Saint-Ivy fountains in the village: the Fontaine Saint-Ivy du Haut and the Fontaine Saint-Ivy de la Rive.

The Fontaine Saint-Ivy de la Rive lies below the cemetery enclosure at the end of the Quai à Sable on the left bank of the Léguer; a staircase leads to it. The fountain dates from the 16th century and was restored in 1970. Historically, it supplied boats with fresh water during high tide.

Paths

The GR® 34 from Lannion to Morlaix reaches Loguivy-lès-Lannion after running along the left bank of the Léguer and then along the road. The “Parcours d’interprétation du Patrimoine” is a 1.5-kilometre circular walk lasting two hours.

Traditions

In July and August, guided tours following in the footsteps of Saint Ivy and local legends take place on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m.; the meeting point is the Quai au Sable. Since 2025, the Église Saint-Ivy de Loguivy-lès-Lannion has been included in the Circuit des Chapelles. The Pardon de Saint-Ivy takes place every year on the first weekend of May.
