Langrolay-Sur-Rance: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The long-distance hiking trail GR 34, also known as the Sentier des Douaniers, runs along Langrolay-sur-Rance.

Nature and Trails

Langrolay-sur-Rance has numerous trails for short hikes (PR). One particularly well-defined route is the Circuit Terre et Rance, a 7-kilometre circular walk in Langrolay-sur-Rance. Along the banks of the maritime Rance, it follows the coastal path or, when the tides are suitable, the foreshore. The circular walk then follows the La Houssaye stream and crosses the countryside to the centre of Langrolay-sur-Rance.

Things to Do

From Langrolay-sur-Rance, cyclists can reach the Voie Verte at Pleslin-Trigavou. The Voie Verte offers cycling opportunities towards Dinard or Dinan.

The local roller-skating track consists of two asphalted circuits. Under their parents’ supervision, children can learn and practise roller skating, inline skating, riding scooters or riding small bicycles on them.

By the Water

The Grève du Roué in Langrolay-sur-Rance is used for swimming. It is located on the maritime Rance opposite Saint-Suliac; walks are also possible at the Grève du Roué. A wooden pontoon provides easy access to the water there at all states of the tide.

Culture and History

The present-day Saint-Laurent church in Langrolay-sur-Rance was built in 1706, in the 18th century. Its altarpiece is made of polychrome wood and dates from the early 18th century.

Langrolay-sur-Rance is also home to an archaeological site with a Gallo-Roman villa and its baths. The architectural and decorative remains of the Gallo-Roman villa site include identified fragments of painted plaster.
