Landebaëron: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

A Neolithic menhir leads directly into Landebaëron’s long history: the Menhir de Menou-Glas is located in Lannec-Menou-Glaz in Landebaëron. It has been listed as a historic monument since 28 July 1969.

Culture and History

In the town centre lies the Fontaine de dévotion Saint-Maudez, with two fountains dating from the 17th century. The fountains are located approximately 30 metres southwest of the church and are flanked by a washhouse situated alongside the road. The fountain on the left preserves a stone statue of Saint Maudez in its niche.

The Église Saint-Maudez bears witness to several construction phases dating from the 14th to the 18th century. A sundial from 1697 is located on its southern façade. The church also houses the Donation du rosaire, a 17th-century oil painting by an unknown artist that is protected as movable cultural property under the heritage protection regulations of Côtes-d’Armor.

The Allée couverte dite Ros-Vras was classified as a historic monument by decree of 23 January 1956.

Nature

The Vallée du Perrier is a botanical trail approximately five kilometres long that connects Kermoroc’h and Landebaëron. In the Vallée du Perrier, the Boucle PR1 passes through the area as an easy, five-kilometre walking route with a stated duration of 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Puits à balancier, located along the Boucle PR1, is known locally as “le shadouf”.
