The Château du Rumain has a main building dating from the 16th century, which was extended by a significant pavilion in the 18th century. The Château du Rumain was restored in 1877; during this work, a gallery and two turrets were added. The Château du Rumain is located in Rumen in Cohiniac.
The Church of Saint-Quentin in Cohiniac was completely rebuilt between 1702 and 1777. Its portal dates from the 14th century and is identical to the portal of Notre Dame-du-Tertre in Châtelaudren. The church’s bell tower dates from 1845.
History
The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Toutes-Joies, also known as the Chapelle de Grimolet, was built in the 15th century and restored in 1877. The Chapelle Sainte-Anne du Rumen, also known as Rumain, is a rectangular 18th-century oratory. The Fontaine de Saint-Yves in Garlouet dates from the 16th century, while the Croix Notre-Dame de Recouvrance dates from the 18th century.
The Moulin aux Moines is a former grain mill in Cohiniac that is now used as a residence. The Moulin aux prêtres was originally a bann mill owned by priests. It stands in isolation; the Leff watercourse runs past or through the building. The Moulin aux prêtres has completely preserved the electrical installation that supplied energy to the Château du Rumin; this installation is comparatively exceptional.
The Domaine de Beaumanoir is located partly within the territory of Cohiniac. By decree of 9 May 1990, it was listed as a historic monument.
