Carnoët: Holiday apartments and holiday homes

The Vallée des Saints is open to visitors around the clock every day, all year round. It is the starting point for several hikes and walks and is situated on a hill overlooking the Monts d’Arrée. The GR 37 runs at the foot of the site, allowing walks through the Fréau Forest.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Gildas is a Gothic chapel dating from the 15th century. It was built by the workshop of Philippe Beaumanoir, who came from Morlaix and whose workshop was active between 1490 and 1520. The chapel can be reached from the Vallée des Saints via a paved stone path.

The Chapelle Saint-Corentin is also one of the site’s historical landmarks. It is a former branch church (Trève) and was probably built in the 15th or 16th century; its bell turret dates from the 16th century. The Chapelle Notre-Dame de Pénity dates from the early 16th century. The year 1675 is inscribed above a small door in the choir, while its interior furnishings were probably completed by the middle of the 17th century.

Trails

The Circuit Rémi Lorinquer was inaugurated in July 2024 and forms a 3.2 km loop around the 38-hectare Vallée des Saints site. Its route is shown on a sign at the entrance to the site and marked every 200 metres with wooden signs. From March to the end of October, guided tours on foot or in an electric carriage are offered.
