Languenan: Holiday apartments and houses

The 14 stained-glass windows of the parish church of Saint-Jacques-le-Mineur in Languenan were made, signed and dated in 1888 at the Megnen, Clamens and Bordereau workshop in Angers, and restored in 1939.

Culture and history

The site of the Seigneurie is said to have once been located at the lieu-dit Clos du Cimetière in Languenan; a feudal motte was mentioned there.

Landscape and trails

From La Tourelle, a hiking trail leads across the D28 and along a sunken lane to Grand Bois Jean, where a ruined chapel is located.
