Nature and Water

The western part of Lac de Bosméléac, known as the “Queue du Lac”, is an overwintering and breeding area for waterfowl, including great crested grebes and coots. The surroundings and shores of Lac de Bosméléac are suitable for fishing, walking, horse riding and mountain biking. At the Barrage de Bosméléac, there are also two slipways built in 2014, providing easy access to the water for launching boats.

Culture and History

The Chapelle Sainte-Anne in Langavry was built in 1896–1897 by the architect Eugène Le Guerrannic. Its fountain was built in 1691 and restored in 1922. The Chapelle Sainte-Anne complex also includes an outdoor pulpit, a wall fountain, and a cross on a pedestal and base.

The Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours in Kergonan was built in 1719 through donations from the parish community and rebuilt in 1880 under the direction of the engineer Gustave Fraval. The monumental cross of this chapel bears the year 1718 and was re-erected in 1811; this year is also marked on the cross.

The Chapelle Saint-Adrien in Allineuc is an 18th-century chapel and is in ruins. The parish church of Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul in Allineuc was built in the 15th century. It contains a 16th-century statue of Saint Peter.
