Boucé: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Lavoir de Boucé is the only round washhouse with a funnel-shaped roof in the Allier department and, at the same time, the only surviving remnant of the former château at the entrance to Boucé.

Culture

The Église Notre-Dame in Boucé is a 19th-century Neo-Romanesque church. It was built between 1882 and 1887 on the site of the former Notre Dame de la Jolivette church. It contains several stained-glass windows bearing the signature MAILHOT.

Water

The Étang du Moulin de la Presle has picnic tables and play equipment for children. Fishing at this body of water requires an annual, weekly or daily fishing permit issued by the Fédération. Discounted fishing permits are available for children under 12 and for people aged 12 to 18. The Fédération Départementale de Pêche is responsible for managing the fishing facilities at the Étang du Moulin de la Presle.

A shaded footpath along the departmental road connects the Lavoir de Boucé with the village.

The Circuit de Randonnée circular hiking trail in Boucé includes the Sentier N°1 “A Fleur d’Eau”. This circular trail has a natural surface and is accessible on foot as well as via the road.
