The Tour Pourçain protected the road from Autun to Clermont. By decree of 22 September 1937, the Chapelle de la Tour Pourçain was listed as a historic monument.

The Église Saint-Julien has a choir dating from the late 14th century in the Flamboyant Gothic style. It also has a holy water font from the 11th century with an octagonal basin resting on a similarly octagonal shaft.
