Culture and History
Église Notre-Dame is a church in the Romanesque style of the second period; significant parts date from the 12th century. The choir apse and part of the transept of Église Notre-Dame have been classified as Historic Monuments since 1910. The church is freely accessible; guided tours and group visits are available on request.
Winegrowing has been deeply rooted in the local history of Domérat since the Middle Ages.
The town of Domérat is once again hosting Août of Sounds in its 9th edition. The programme for 2026 includes the visitor activity “Visit to the vineyards and the wine museum”.
