La Lagorienne includes mountain-biking routes of 22 and 30 km, a 13 km trail and a 12 km hiking route. Culture and History
The Church of Saint Michael in Lagor dates back to a Gothic foundation and was originally dedicated to Saint Blaise.
After being converted into a Protestant temple in 1620, the Church of Saint Michael in Lagor was returned to Catholic worship.
Saint Michael's has a crenellated tower. On its left side stands a 16th-century annex that formerly served as the town hall. The Moulin Lère, dating from the 17th century, is also part of the area's history.
Activities in Lagor
The Lagor Moto Club provides a motocross track and a trials track, as well as supervised activities for young people and adults. Its offerings include a motorcycle school for children and young people aged 6 to 13; there are also courses for beginners and experienced riders. In Lagor, the Moto Club offers off-road motorcycling, trials and motocross activities.
Getting There
Lagor can be reached from Pau via the D2, D33 and D31. From the A64, the Orthez or Artix exits lead to Lagor via the specified roads.
