The Urgorri Route is a very easy, 3.5-kilometre family hike with 150 metres of elevation gain; the stated duration is 1 hour and 30 minutes. It follows a circular route over ridges and through the dense forest of the Urgorri Valley, offering extensive views as well as sections along inconspicuous streams.

Local Produce

Bastidarra produces yoghurt and dairy products in its workshops in Bardos. These include yoghurt, dairy products, and desserts made from sheep's, cow's, and goat's milk; the milk comes from farms located less than 20 kilometres from the dairy.

From Monday to Friday between 10 and 11 a.m., Bastidarra offers guided tours of its production workshops with a tasting of yoghurt and desserts. The Bastidarra shop in Bardos sells its own dairy products as well as regional specialities such as cheese, drinks, and preserves; there is a tasting area on site.

The Brasserie du Pays Basque in Bardos brews and produces the beers of the Eguzki, Oldarki, and Zazpi brands. The guided tour explains the brewing process and the production cycle. The visit to the brasserie concludes with a tasting area at the end of the tour.
